Prayer for 2014

At Zion’s River, during one of our Pastoral Leadership Meetings, one of our prophetic leaders felt led to say, “We need to end the year strong in prayer, and begin the year strong in prayer.”  So…as Jesus said, so shall we believe that, “…if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)

Beginning December 25th, 2013 and ending on January 7th, this site will be devoted to giving a common focus of prayer for the next year.  On each of these 14 days, you can visit this blog site (click on the “Prayer for 2014″ category in the column to the left) and find a prayer prompt that will give both a Biblical and prophetically insightful focus which we believe will find it’s fulfillment over the next 12 months.  By subscribing to this blog on the home page, you will receive an email alerting you to a new prompt waiting for you.  This prompt will include not only a focus of prayer, but also a time in which we can agree to pray.  There is no minimum amount of time required to pray, but all you need to do is simply take a moment at the designated hour and agree to pray with the focus in mind.  How much and how long you pray is up to you and how you’re led.  (If you’re not able to take a moment at the hour of prayer, then please take any moment you are available.)

Feel free to leave comments and/or written out prayers below each prompt as you receive them.  I believe there will be a huge blessing as we read everyone’s faith-filled response.

May there be a true manifestation of God’s 100-fold increase in this next year as we obey Him!
