Morning Meditation – One Day at a Time

Psalm 103:2–5 (ESV) — Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, 3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

My dear friends, I want to encourage all of you regarding what God is about to release through us all.

I have had the privilege and excitement to see God miraculously heal in an instant.  Dysfunctional organs, a deaf ear, infections, strokes, cancer…the list is an awesome testimony of God’s loving reality!  It truly is thrilling to witness these things by our faith.  But, some of the most important healings require a lifetime before seeing results.

Namely, it is the healing of your soul – the restoration of a true identity!  It may be initiated by what we call salvation, but it does not complete it.  Our salvation experience only begins the joy-filled and life long process of your story’s development.  I hear God so clearly in this, “I long for you to enjoy this gift I’ve given you through my Son – the gift of creating a life in the NOW and for all eternity!

What a thrilling adventure of possibilities!  In fulfilling our divine destiny, we must not wait for it, we must step into it.  We must work on it.  We must develop it.  We need to embrace the small decisions, today, that lead to huge ramifications, tomorrow.  And in our faithfulness, things that were once hidden come to light.  Things that were bound to past failure are set free for the world to witness.  This is the joy of our walk with Jesus – to partner with Him, one day at a time, for a vision of which only He has full perspective.

Although we may wish God to fix everything, today, by the command of His voice, our Lord has given us a better solution – the joy of creating an unfolding life that has not been seen before!

Pray…receive…move.  And when your done with that, do it all again tomorrow.
