Prophetic Insight – New Beginnings

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33, NIV)

Several nights ago, I was in prayer; and the Spirit of the Lord encouraged me saying, “You are in a time of new beginnings.”  His gentle response came on the heels of my crying out to Him on behalf of the nation, the church, and even myself.  I was distressed by all that I have seen and some things I have experienced.  And in it all, our Lord comforted my soul.

I share this personal reflection believing that it will speak to someone.  Jesus has not forgotten you.  He knows exactly where you are and what you’re going through.  We must believe that we’re part of a bigger plan; that nothing is wasted.  The promise is we will go through all kinds of “trouble,” but Jesus has already seen our breakthrough.

Believe the Word of the Lord, “You will overcome.”

Again, let me say, “It’s a time of new beginnings.”  What that means, God will reveal to you.  But new beginnings always follow times of great trial.  What you are going through will come to an end, and you will be launched into something brand new.  You are being perfectly shaped and molded for a time requiring a newer and better version of you.  Life is not a mistake, but an opportunity to be what is needed in every moment.

Let the season be what it is.  Find peace in the Lord’s reign, and you will become what is necessary.  Jesus truly loves you all.

Thank you so much Pastor for these words today. I so needed to hear them. It reminded me to be patient and wait on the Lord, for He has good things for those who wait!

  2. This my friend, and my Pastor, is truly wonderful; not to mention inspirational and encouraging! Praise Jesus that He brings Words of comfort in times of trouble which lead us as we walk through the valley’s, along the mountain side, and up the climb to greater revelation of His desires and purpose.

  3. Every moment an opportunity to glorify God… to listen, trust, obey out of our love for Him who loved us first… His plans are b-e-y-o-n-d….magnificent blessing, if I will lay down my paltry self-centeredness and believe Him, the trustworthy One.
