Morning Meditation – An Unfiltered Lens

You don’t have to tell them to do it.  They just do.  It’s natural for them.  Children play!

Kids see life through the unfiltered lens of joy.  For them, anything is possible.  Children look at the world as an opportunity.  They are not encumbered by future glory, or an abundance of past failures.  As long as the world hasn’t imposed too much upon them, our children simply live to be who they are.

Jesus said, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”  (Mark 10:14)

Today, choose innocence.  Enjoy life!  Set your agenda to discover what currently hides from you.  Oh yes…I know…you might have to work, attend school, or be obliged to some other event.  But…within you, where the Kingdom of God resides, see through the lens of your innocence.

See what God sees, tap into your divine design, and play.

  1. Our Great Grandson lives with us and as I watch him I can only imagine what he is thinking, he is 5 and I have to let him see me in the best light possible, I try to set a example for him and remind myself that he is innocent and that he looks up to the people around him and I know that in many ways we are all innocent and look to God because he is our example and I know that I need to try and live by that. Its not always easy but it is always possible. When I pray I always pray for all my children because i still want to be the best I can be and through pray I ask for Gods guidance for that, it doesn’t matter that they are grown and now have their own families we still need to be the example for them
