Morning Meditation – Pain

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all.” (John 6:63)

One of the strategies of our enemy is very simple: connect your pain to your desire to escape. Dislodging you from your story destroys your potential. It robs you of a greater future. Every day lost is a day less you possess to make the most of your time.

Of course, God is a redeemer and restorer of lost days. But, that doesn’t mean we have all the time in the world to accomplish God’s purposes for us.

So, when the enemy comes, and reminds you of your pain; move anyways! Trust the Spirit to give you the necessary resources to accomplish your divine purpose. Be strong in His strength. Let God heal you in the moment. And when you lie down tonight, rest, knowing that you had the victory.
