“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
New seasons bring with them a complete shift in the atmosphere. It’s pretty simple, really. Colors change. Scents shift. Weather obviously transforms the landscape. And with the changes, we adjust our lifestyles to match the season without hardly even thinking about it.
Don’t you wish shifting seasons in our personal lives could be just as automatic—where it would happen without any real effort from us? Spiritually speaking, we don’t move into new seasons without embracing change. You got to transform your thinking. Methodologies must be adjusted. Even the clothes you wear might need to accommodate the atmospheric shift.
Allow me to encourage you today. Embrace your next season. The Lord says, “I’m about to do great and mighty things with you, but you can’t go in the way you’ve been. You got to think differently—be something more than you are. What you say matters. What you affirm will open things. Adjust to a new routine and the new season will begin to unfold before your very eyes.” Amen!
Consider the potential new season before you; and with it, find joy in wearing your new attire.
