Morning Meditation – According to Your Faith

“According to your faith be it done to you.” (Matthew 9:29, ESV)

It goes without saying, but unless you receive what’s been offered, you don’t experience the gift. This is faith. It’s very simple. It begins not with what we can do for the Lord, but with what God provides for us. He creates. He breathes life. He gives. The only requirement is to receive it.

This is faith—not that we boast in our strength, but that we stand in the Lord’s strength. Ultimately, all of us will reach a place where we find ourselves empty; and it is in those moments where we see where we have truly placed our trust. Faith makes sense of a world that at times seems senseless.

What a grand hope we have! God gave us the gift of Himself so that we could put our trust in Him. He is the answer when there are no answers.

So, what is your faith crying out for, today. Believe for it, and reach out of it. Jesus cares. And as the blind men received their sight, may the Lord say to you as well, “According to your faith be it done to you.”

4years ago, while agonizing over my granddaughter while she was destroying her life with drug addiction, God gave me a dream and in it I was with my granddaughter but the difference was she was clothed in her right mind and dressed in appropriate clothing for a young woman . Also, in the dream, she said to me, ” I don’t know what I was thinking back then” I clung to that like a buoy in a raging sea. Today she stands healed and living a sober life… the best is yet to come!

Your words always encourage me, I know that if I didn’t have Faith I would have never made it this far, I look back on my life and wonder how I ever made it through some of the things that have happened, I also know that God had Faith in me and that is the reason I have made the Journey where to I am at today. I have been so blessed in so many ways, my Mother was a strong Faithful Christian who always lived by Faith and I know that because of that she has been rewarded by her Faith she had in me and God. I was having a real bad day one time and that night I had a vision of her in my room smiling at me and telling everything was going to be ok, I really believe she was there.

  3. Pastor, this post made me cry; cry with tears of longing for what God desires us to believe in Him for.

I stand today, captivated by His goodness having seen His miraculous hand at work; yet with understanding, there is so much more He desires I/we believe for.

  4. AMEN!! I say all the time that I am so very thankful for all I have gone through because without those extremely hard times, I would not have the Faith I do now!! I also would not be WHO I am without them. God has shown me time and time again that I need only to trust him in EVERY SINGLE CIRCUMSTANCE and HE will provide!!
