Morning Meditation – Through It All

If the absence of disease is the only measure of faithfulness or healing, then there are a lot of condemned people in the world.  Healing is not the test of our devotion.  True health is not the absence of disease, but the freedom from disease!

Don’t let the enemy discourage you and rob you of your joy in the Lord.  God’s love will never cause you pain.  He will never go out of His way to bring evil into your life.  He does not bring struggle to our lives.  We simply need to understand that we live in a fallen world, and that it’s subject to the powers and rulers of this current age.

Jesus will return one day and set it all straight.  In the meantime, we will believe for God’s supernatural and interventive healing.  We will believe that, in Jesus’ name, all things must bow to His Lordship.  In it all, we will glorify him through our challenges knowing that we are always free to love and receive love.

While it is true that God is a God of miracles, He is most concerned with the status of our heart.  May we always be the vision of His manifest goodness through it all.

Godliness with contentment is great gain. Sometimes we are so focused on eating right and excercising that it overshadows and blocks what God wants to do in our souls. He wants our soul to prosper but that will only happen as we continue to surrender to his Lordship. Thanks for the good word, Isaac.
