“But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” (Luke 11:20, ESV)
Where Jesus reigns, darkness will always be challenged. He sees their strategies. He knows their work. It pains our Lord’s heart that any of us would have our lives sapped dry of our potential. Although we may not always recognize the enemy’s insidious tendrils working into our daily adventure, Jesus continuously pleads, “Let me show you the full extent of my love by removing what steals from your true destiny.”
Of course, we don’t always feel like we need deliverance, but we all need to be reminded that “in Him (God), there is no darkness.” (1 John 1:5). So, if God has touched our lives, if He has filled us with His Spirit, then anything that is not of Him should be seen as a thief and a robber to the Word spoken over us from the beginning of time.
Let the Word wash over you throughout this day. Let Jesus point out what needs to go and what needs to stay. He has the power to do it; no matter the battle. In the end, life will only increase!
