Insight for Today—Expectancy

The Lord prompted me to send this to you while I was preparing and praying for this weekend’s “Encounter God” service.

Recently, three incredible healings in our ministry reminded me of a huge truth. It was like the Lord was speaking loudly to me through what was normal for Him—“You can’t draw on what you do not believe in your heart.” Knowledge won’t do it. Understanding won’t do it. But only a passionate heart-felt desire for the Lord.

Over and over again, Jesus points to the reason for anything supernatural happening. “All things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23) Continually, Jesus exclaims it was the presence of faith that brought healing to the people. Theological understanding couldn’t do it; but only faith!

Today, I simply want to remind you that if you want to increase in anything in the kingdom of God, it will come from your faith expressing itself through love—love for the Lord and love for others. Faith is not the knowledge that God will do a thing, but the internal conviction that God is Lord over all things.

Take time to ponder this and let God expand what He can do through you!

See you Friday night at 7 PM at Zion’s River! Come with expectancy!

    Oh, another thing, it’s so wierd but my mom has contracted the worst case of shingles I ever saw. It seems the “hits” we are taking just don’t stop!!! But I have this confidence that He is taking care of us and whatever curve ball we keep getting, He’s at work in and through me and mom!

    I love this too. Even after a second interview, My grandaughter didn’t get a job promotion she so wanted and believed she had. She was literally bawling when she called me. I encouraged her with this meditation that came just in time! God is on the throne and He knows what He’s doing! Trust!

      Trust in the Lord’s goodness. He IS with you He has not forgotten you. He IS the God who loves YOU, as pastor Jim stated, He is “Lord over all things”

      Thank you Jesus..
      I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
      That I would see the goodness of the
      Lord
      In the land of the living.
      Wait on the Lord;
      Be of good courage,
      And He shall strengthen your heart ;
      Wait, I say, on the Lord!
      Ps 27:13,14 😃
