AM Meditation — By What I Cannot See

“Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” (Mark 5:34, ESV)

Faith avails you of what you would otherwise ignore. It says, “I will allow something larger than my issues to determine who I am.” It calls us to reject what the world says is impossible for what we know is true in our hearts.

Faith is wired into every human being. Whether realized or not, we are all compelled by it. It describes the underpinnings of our reality; for no one truly lives by their sight alone. We all move by what we cannot see. We believe in what has not happened yet. We hope in what we do not yet fully understand. Something in us says the possibilities are more than I can see or manipulate. And so, we believe we were made to achieve more than we can imagine.

The enemy on the other hand wants your sight limited to what you currently see and are experiencing. Discouragement is his game. If you accept things as they are rather than what they can be, then we lose our future.

So, would you dare to let God lure you into a brand-new experience of life today. Choose the miracle of living!

Thank you for your encouraging blog. Focus on God is what it all comes down to. I was recently instructed by God not to let my self doubts get in the way of what He wants to do.

I’m just now reading your meditation Monday morning. I want to thank you so very much for your pastoring! Through your teaching, I have been able to “ live and let live” by understanding God holds each one of us, saved and unsaved. He is the Lord over each life, not me. Because of this, I could simply love my daughter (actually, and anyone) instead of disowning her because of a heroin addiction…,believing the Lord is for her not against her and He, not me, directs her path! By faith, I believe for what has not happened yet! I believe in the fact that God has redeemed our days and we can walk out each day with the knowledge that He is the King !!! He is with me and the whole benefits of His redemptive work meets me in every circumstance!!! Today, I am blessed to say, my daughter is restored!
