To all my Prayer Walking friends out there.
Don’t lose sight of this one thing: there is a war in the heavenlies. (Ephesians 6:12) What we do in the spirit has more profound effect than sometimes we can imagine. God has sent us to stand in places not seen with human eyes. To breakthrough for God’s purpose in the spiritual realm.
The difficulty in this prayer assignment is as physical beings we would rather mold and shape things by some physical process—to transform things by the sheer force of our will. Like Play-dough in our hands we would love to change anything and everything that isn’t good; but some times that’s just not reality. Unseen and untouchable things surround our lives. Some things simply can’t be changed by the force of our minds. So we must learn to open things by interceding before the Father in the places assigned to us.
As the Word constantly points out, by faith mountains move. By faith, the sick find their healing. By faith, Jesus’ ejects demons out of the game. By faith, miracles become reality. The scripture is simply one giant book describing the life that believes in the unseen.
So, keep praying everyday. Don’t quit. It is the power of God working through our faith to bring down strongholds.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:4)
